Middle name, Baby Shower, Big Feet, and a Green Room

Marcus and I decided to change Zolie's middle name to Maye, after my Grandma Maye (my mom's mom) and Marcus's dad's mom. My Grandma Maye lived with us my entire life until she passed away when I was in 7th grade. She was my best friend and I loved spending time with her. She helped me learn my Articles of Faith ... which I will never forget. I would watch tv with her, I think I would pretend to be sick just to stay home with her and hang out. I basically loved spending time with her in her room. I remember I would get up in the middle of the night and sneak in her room, she would want to cover me up even in August and I would be dying of heat, but I loved being with her so I put up with it ..... She was an awesome Grandma and person and I am really happy to name my first daughter after her. I like to think that Grandma Maye has been taking care of Zolie until she was ready to come to us.

My baby shower was this last Saturday and we basically got everything we needed, she will be very well dressed, that's for sure! It was a lot of fun and nice to see everyone that came, and those that helped out, I really appreciate it! I don't have any pictures on my computer but my mother-in-law took some so I will have to get them from her.

Ok, so we had an ultrasound last week and Zolie is already 6 lbs! I couldn't believe it, although I guess I shouldn't be surprised, I can feel that she is big. She also seems to have huge feet! Take a look for yourself, this is her foot right up b y her face, it ishuge! Hopefully that means she will be tall.

Her room is done! We washed all her clothes and got them all put away this last weekend. The pictures didn't turn out too well, the walls are light green and there are vinyl stickers that match the bedding. I am really happy with how it turned out.
